Let's face it, marriage is hard. Sure, it might seem easy at times, but when you mash two different people into a routine of living together day-in and day-out, it can get difficult.

Whether you've been married for one month or fifty years, we hope you'll consider joining the other couples at Bethel for a unique learning and fellowship opportunity on November 14-16 as we embark on a weekend get-away to T-Bar-M to glean from Biblical teaching and the wisdom of others.

ABOUT OUR SPEAKER

Our speaker for the retreat is Dr. Chris Brauns, a pastor and newly published author on the subject of forgiveness and reconciliation within marriage. Chris serves as Senior Pastor at Red Brick Valley Church in Stillman Valley, IL (outside of Chicago). In addition to being a shepherd, husband of his wife, Jamie, and father of four children - Alison, Christopher, Benjamin, and Mary Beth, he recently became a published author with his first book - Unpacking Forgiveness - Biblical Answers for Complex Questions and Deep Wounds.

Chris comes from a "diverse" educational background. Not only does Chris have degrees in chemistry from Central College (Pella, IA) and an MBA from the University of Northern Iowa (Cedar Falls, IA), he also has his Master of Divinity from Grand Rapids Theological Seminary and his Doctor of Ministry from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary.
